Who am I?

My name is José Luis, I am from Spain, an industrial engineer from the University of Valladolid, and also a musician (I worked as a guitar teacher for years, and I also have organ and piano studies), however, traveling has always been one of my favourite hobbies.

Nowadays, I live in Sofia, Bulgaria, where I moved in 2018 due to the lack of job opportunities in Spain. Even though I certainly miss my country, I have always considered myself a citizen of the world.

Some time ago, I decided to create this blog to help travelers who plan to travel to the places I have already visited, show my photos, favorite places, and of course, give advice that could be of help to all readers.

Who is this blog for?

Anyone interested in travel photography, storytellers, as well as free travelers (either alone or as a couple). Here you can find tips and useful information about the places I have visited.

Also, and due to my role as a musician, I will provide information on the soundtrack that, in my opinion, can best fit a given trip. You can visit the Traveling Soundtrack page for further details.

Why this blog?

One of the things that I have learned best in my travels is that we all have a story to tell. So one day I decided to tell mine. Whenever I can I look for places to visit, either alone or with friends.

“To travel is to take a journey into yourself.”
